Zip HydroTap units include a safety lock to prevent accidental dispensing of boiling water. To unlock, press both the red lever and the safety button simultaneously. On some models, you can hold the chilled lever + safety button for ~10 seconds to disable the lock mode temporarily.

To replace the filter cartridge in a Zip HydroTap:

Open the access door to access the cartridge.
Position a bucket under the filter, and if present, press the red lever or open the stopcock to relieve pressure.
Rotate the old cartridge a quarter turn to the left and pull it downwards.
Install the new cartridge by moistening the O-rings, pushing it into position, and turning a quarter turn to the right to lock it in.
Run water to flush out carbon fines (e.g. 10 litres) and reset the filter counter via the touchscreen.
