Best Bathroom Vanity Brands in Australia: Which Should You Buy?
A vanity can look perfect in a photo and still be frustrating to use. The drawer might clash with the plumbing, the top you liked might cost extra, or the beautiful open shelf might become a home for spare shampoo.
That is why choosing between bathroom vanity brands takes more than recognising a logo. ADP, Timberline and Fienza all deserve a place on an Australian renovation shortlist, but the right choice depends on the actual cabinet, its inclusions and your budget.
This Blue Leaf guide compares three brands we stock using published specifications and selected product prices. It is a buying guide, rather than a claim that one manufacturer wins every category.
ADP vs Timberline vs Fienza: quick comparison
| Brand | Worth exploring for | Example | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|---|
| ADP | Cabinet, drawer and top configurations | Glacier Door & Drawer | Lite versus Pro specification; selected top |
| Timberline | Finish choices and storage layouts with a furniture feel | Kansas | Open shelving, top selection and range-specific warranty |
| Fienza | A defined cabinet-and-moulded-top package | Dolce Edge Scandi Oak | Drawer handing, mounting style and finish material |
Start with the layout you need in the Blue Leaf bathroom vanity collection , then compare equivalent specifications. A brand with an appealing entry price may also offer much more expensive configurations.
First, find out what the vanity price includes
Two listings can both say “900mm vanity” while describing very different purchases. One may include a moulded basin top; another may need a separate benchtop, basin and waste. Tapware and installation can add further costs.
Ask for a written list covering the cabinet, top, basin, handles, waste, delivery and installation. Confirm the finish and bowl position too. The number on a collection page may belong to the smallest size, rather than the model shown in its main photograph.
Then check the drawing. Nominal width is a shopping category, not a guarantee that every cabinet and top measures exactly the same. Our bathroom vanity dimensions guide explains the measurements to confirm before you commit.
For a Sydney apartment renovation, share that drawing with your installer before ordering. Existing plumbing and delivery access can affect the practical choice as much as the finish.
A closer look at the three vanity brands
ADP: compare the configuration, not just “Glacier”
ADP is a useful starting point when you want to compare options within a cabinet family. Its Glacier Door & Drawer range illustrates why the full model name matters.
Glacier Lite has a Fresh White interior and white pressed-metal drawers. Glacier Pro has a graphite interior and graphite deluxe drawers. Those are identifiable specification differences; they do not mean every ADP vanity includes the same hardware.
The top changes the package too. ADP lists ceramic moulded, cast marble moulded and benchtop-and-basin options in this range. Even depth changes with the selected top, so changing materials late in the process deserves another drawing check.
Explore ADP vanities at Blue Leaf if you want to weigh those choices against your budget. Ask for the complete configuration on the quote, including whether it is Lite or Pro.
Timberline: consider how the storage will look in use
Timberline is worth exploring when the cabinet is a prominent part of the room design. Kansas combines open shelving with deep drawers and offers cabinet finishes, handle choices and different top options.
An open shelf can look lovely with folded towels. It is less useful if everything you need to store comes in mismatched bottles. Before choosing that layout, picture an ordinary weekday morning rather than a styled photograph.
The Timberline vanity range also deserves a model-by-model warranty check. Kansas currently advertises ten years, while Nevada advertises five. Neither figure should be applied automatically to the whole brand.
ADP describes its bathroom furniture as Australian made, and Timberline identifies Kansas cabinets as Australian made. If local manufacture matters to you, confirm the origin of the cabinet and selected components separately.
Fienza: inspect the details of the complete package
Fienza's Dolce Edge Scandi Oak package is a useful example for buyers who want a defined cabinet and ceramic moulded top. The 900mm kickboard model includes finger-pull openings, soft-close doors and drawers, and full-extension drawer runners.
There is a material detail worth noticing: Fienza describes Scandi Oak as a textured print on the cabinet interior and exterior. An oak-look finish should not be mistaken for solid oak.
The 900mm model also comes with left- or right-hand drawers. Choose that orientation against the actual plumbing position and the storage you use most often. A good-looking cabinet loses some appeal if its most convenient drawer cannot work with the existing services.
What do these vanities cost in Australia?
These selected Blue Leaf listings show three nominal 900mm options. Prices were checked on 24 October 2026; they may change with promotions, selections and availability.
| Model and variant | Mounting / top | SKU | Price (AUD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| ADP Glacier Twin Lite, 900 Centre Bowl | Wall hung / ceramic moulded top | GLLFCW0900WHCCE | $911 |
| Timberline Kansas, 900 Centre Bowl | Wall hung / ceramic-top listing | KAN-V-900-C-APH-W | $1,624 |
| Fienza Dolce Edge Scandi Oak 900, Left Hand Drawers | Freestanding on kickboard / ceramic moulded top | TCL90SKL | $624 |
These are different packages. The Fienza example is freestanding; the other two are wall hung. Storage layouts and top specifications differ too. The table helps you establish a shortlist, but does not prove that one entire brand is cheaper or better.
Request a quote for your final configuration, delivery and installation before comparing totals. Keep the SKU with your quote so a later change of top or drawer orientation is easy to identify.
A simple way to compare two quotes
Imagine that both vanities fit your room, but one quote includes a moulded top and the other includes only the cabinet. Add the second option's top, basin and required fittings before comparing prices. Then check whether changing the basin also changes the tap you need.
Next, compare the storage you will use. A lower cabinet price may still be the better choice if it gives you the right drawers and a suitable basin. Equally, paying more can make sense when it solves a specific problem, such as keeping everyday items accessible. Write that benefit beside the price difference; it makes the decision much clearer.
Read the warranty by component and model
ADP's published domestic schedule separates the cabinet from its top: cabinets have ten years, while ceramic moulded tops have five, each with one year of parts and labour. Other top materials have different terms.
Timberline's Kansas and Nevada pages show why the range matters: ten years and five years respectively. Ask how the selected top, hardware, labour and any removal costs are covered. For Fienza, request the current terms for the exact cabinet-and-top combination.
Save your invoice, order details and installation records. A headline warranty period alone does not describe every component, exclusion or service cost.
Which bathroom vanity brand should you buy?
For a tightly controlled renovation budget
Start with a complete package and work backwards from the installed total. The selected Fienza model offers a lower product price in our examples, provided its freestanding layout suits the room. Compare alternatives with the same mounting style and inclusions before deciding.
For a coordinated, design-focused bathroom
Shortlist ADP and Timberline configurations with the finishes and storage you actually want. Put samples beside your tiles in the room's lighting. A warm woodgrain that works in a showroom can read differently beside a cool grey floor.
If you are choosing a separate basin, use our bathroom basin buying guide to narrow down its shape and mounting style. Then check basin tap height and spout reach before ordering the tapware.
For a busy family bathroom
Count what needs a home: hair tools, spare toiletries, children's things and cleaning supplies. Look at usable drawer space around the plumbing, rather than counting drawer fronts. Soft-close hardware is helpful, but it cannot compensate for the wrong storage layout.
If the vanity cannot hold everything, consider storage above it. Our recessed versus surface-mounted shaving cabinet guide explains another way to organise everyday essentials.
What is worth paying extra for?
Spend where you will notice the improvement daily: accessible drawers, a suitable basin position, useful bench space and a finish you like in person. An upgrade is easier to judge when the quote explains exactly what changes.
Be more cautious about paying for a label without a specification difference. “Premium” might describe the drawer system, the top, the cabinet interior or simply a collection name. Ask to see those details.
When viewing a display, open the drawers fully and check how comfortably you can reach the back. Look at the edges around handles, the cabinet interior and the space below the bowl. Those small observations help turn a broad brand comparison into a choice you can explain. If buying online, request a drawing or photographs of the exact configuration rather than relying on a styled image of another size.
Good installation matters too. Have your installer confirm wall support, fixing requirements and plumbing clearances for the selected model. Follow its care instructions, dry spills promptly and fix leaks. ADP's warranty specifically excludes water damage; an expensive cabinet still needs appropriate care.
Your final vanity order checklist
- Exact model, SKU, finish, mounting style and drawer handing.
- Cabinet and top drawings, including actual overall dimensions.
- Written inclusions for the top, basin, handles and waste.
- Installer confirmation of plumbing and fixing compatibility.
- Current lead time, delivery access and custom-order conditions.
- Warranty terms for each component and the final supplied price.
Check whether your basin has an overflow before choosing the waste. Our 32mm versus 40mm basin waste guide covers the compatibility questions to put to your plumber.
Bathroom vanity brands: frequently asked questions
Is ADP better than Timberline?
Compare the models you would actually order. ADP Glacier Lite and Pro have different interiors and drawers; Timberline Kansas has its own storage layout and options. Match top material, storage, finish and complete price before choosing.
Is Fienza a good choice for a budget bathroom?
It is worth shortlisting. The selected Dolce Edge package costs less than the other examples here, but it is freestanding. Confirm that its layout, inclusions and installation requirements suit your bathroom before judging value.
Are Australian-made vanities worth paying more for?
Local manufacture can matter if it supports the configuration and finish you want. It does not replace checking materials, warranty or price. Confirm which parts of the selected package are Australian made.
Do vanities include the basin and tapware?
Inclusions vary. A moulded-top package incorporates the basin into the top; another listing may require a separate basin. Do not assume tapware, waste fittings, delivery or installation are included without written confirmation.
Does a longer warranty mean a better vanity?
It is one useful comparison point. Check the covered components, labour period and conditions too. ADP's cabinet and ceramic moulded-top periods differ, while Timberline's published warranty varies between Kansas and Nevada.
How do I avoid ordering the wrong vanity?
Have your installer check the final drawing, plumbing position and fixing requirements before purchase. Confirm the SKU, top, finish and drawer orientation in writing, then inspect the delivered components before installation.
